Gun Control is a difficult subject on both sides of the political spectrum, everyone has different opinions on the subject.  Everyone agrees that some form is needed but that it can be easily abused to oppress the people.  A full gun ban is an awful idea, all guns/weapons be legal is just as bad so what we must do is decide what boundaries we need to set for ourselves that don't infringe on our rights but also protect the people from wrongdoers. America was made by men who fought against tyranny and oppression to secure the freedom of themselves and generations to come.  They created a perfect system that, even with its problems, is the best the world has ever seen.  When writing the constitution they thought very carefully about every single word in it, they debated it to the commas.  They made a system that, if untampered, made every man and women of any race free.  When people interpret the constitution they must throw out all of their biases and only focus on fact.  If we attempt to change or alter the constitution we could be easily oppressed by those in power, our rights must be protected at all cost, safety is very important, but we must also be safe from our elected officials.  Greed and lust for power can drive government's tyrannical, it can lead to the oppression of its citizens, and the first thing Tyrannical governments do is disarm the people, Mao, Hitler, and Stalin, all the big ones disarmed the people, then they went right ahead to mass executions.  We aren’t saying that the U.S will go tyrannical but we must always be vigilant, rather safe than sorry.  Obviously we aren’t vouching for total anarchy where people can purchase Nukes and Rockets and whatever they desire, but we are only demonstrating that when not kept in check, government tyranny can rise at any moment.  The Second Amendment was put in place so we as a free people could protect ourselves from bad people, including a tyrannical government.

“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.” – Joseph Stalin

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms.” -Adolf Hitler
